Chinese Lunar New Year Celebrations at The Open University 2025
OU staff and postgraduate students are warmly invited to attend the Chinese Lunar New Year Celebrations taking place in the Hub Theatre on the Milton Keynes campus, Tuesday 28th January 2025 between 1-3pm.
There will be a range of activities and entertainment from Tai Chi fan dancing, traditional Chinese painting, calligraphy and a Qigong for wellbeing taster class. There will also be live Chinese flute music to enjoy as well as some delicious Chinese tea, snacks and spring rolls.
To ensure we provide enough food and materials for everybody, it would help us if you could RSVP here.
We will also be running a fun competition for attendees where you can upload your pictures of your painting and/or calligraphy to enter. Please visit the padlet here to enter. The winner for each category will be chosen on 7th February 2025. You can also share your photographs from the day here .
If you'd like to enjoy a Chinese lunch on the day, the catering team in the Hub will also be offering their Chinese menu for all to enjoy.
