Calling all teachers of Chinese and teachers of other languages!

We are delighted to be co-organising another hybrid (online and in-person) training day with Lancaster University Confucius Institute for teachers of Chinese as Foreign Language, as well as teachers of other languages.

Although the theme of this one-day event is Teaching Chinese Language and Cultures in the AI Era, teachers of other languages are welcome to attend the day as the shared approaches are applicable to language learning in general. Click the subject title above to view the details.

There will be six keynote speakers online and in-person, including the following topics:

Further details about the day including the schedule and speaker biographies is available here.

Please note that most of the afternoon will be devoted to sharing good practices by all the participants (online and in-person). We invite participants to give lightning talks. Lightning talks are short, time-limited presentations (typically 5 to 10 minutes) designed to convey key ideas quickly and effectively.

Registration is now open and free to attend. You can choose to attend in-person at Lancaster University or online via MS Teams. Please also indicate if you are prepared to give a lightning talk. Please register by clicking this registration link  by 17th April 2025.

We look forward to seeing you there!

After the event, we would really appreciate it if you could complete this very short survey to share your feedback with us. Thank you!
